ኢሳያስ አፍወርቂ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር ዉህደት ለመፍጠር የወያኔ የበላይ አመራሮችን እየተማጸኑ ነው ::የኤርትራው ሻቢያዊ መሪ አይቶ ኢሳያስ ከ እትዮጵያ ጋር ዳግም ለመዋሃድ የ አንድነት ጥያቄ ማቅረባቸው ከ ወደ ምጽዋ ተሰማ;በመጪው ጊዜያት ኤርትራ ከኢትዮጵያ ዉጪ ምንም ህልውና እንደማይኖራት አስባለሁ ያሉት አቶ ኢሳያስ በአስመራ ከተማ እየታየ ያለዉን መጥፎ የፖለቲካ አየር ለመቀየር ጠዋት ማታ በበሽተኛ ጎናቸው ቢደክሙም አልተሳካላቸዉም::
ከአስመራ በተመንግስት የሚወጡ ዘገባዎች እንደሚያመለክቱት ከሆነ ኢትዮጵያ ዳግም ጦርነት እንዳትከፍት ስጋት እንዳለ ይናገራሉ::
President Esayas is in contact with TPLF hard cores for reunication with Ethiopia
The much awaited announcement by President Esayas Afewerki of Eritrea has revealed many important matters that would give hopes for majority of Eritreans and Ethiopians: the start of the reunification process. Some members of TPLF hard cores have been in communication with high level Eritrean officials including Esayas afewerki via third party personnel in starting the negotiation for laying out the ground work for smooth relationship that would potentially lead into union; many believe this would benefit greatly Eritrea, a country that ranks at the bottom of world’s human development index, global hunger index and world’s economic GDP, yet TPLF led Ethiopia’s government nonetheless will be willing to bring once its northern province into the fold. Economic sanctions imposed by United nations security council and regional IGAD has put Eritrea in economic and political isolation and its repercussions have been so damaging for the average Eritreans. Life in Eritrea has become unbearable that thousands are fleeing the once vibrant province of Ethiopia to many countries in search of better economic opportunities. In realizing the gloom future with the fast changing middle east and horn geo-politics, Eritrean president is making the right decision, in postponing his resignation for a year before he can re-do the wrongs and incorporate back his province into his ancestral country of Ethiopia, for he and his inner circles have concluded that Eritrea will not survive without Ethiopia for the foreseeable future. The most surprising has been the change of policy and attitude of TPLF hard cores who along their leader Meles zenawi vehemently opposed to such idea when their leader was alive. The change of course will be seen as a blessing for majority of Ethiopians who felt betrayed when their most northern province broke away from Ethiopia without being consulted and without their voice heard, in full circle, the very people who collaborated with the secession of Eritrea now seems to make things right with a like-minded Esayas and EPLF in the other part of the mereb riveር
